Report: Xbox owners won’t have to wait too long for the Destiny betaWritten by: / / 1 Comment
While the official date for next month’s Destiny beta test is set for July 17th on PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 3, a new trailer for the game has revealed that Xbox 360 and Xbox One owners won’t have to wait too long to sink their teeth into the taster.
Videogamer.com reports that text appearing on a recent Destiny trailer shown on the Xbox LIVE Dashboard suggests that the game’s beta on Xbox platforms will kick off in “late July 2014,” which means a maximum of two weeks wait for non-PlayStation gamers.
Like those selfsame PlayStation gamers, if you would like to participate in the Destiny beta on any platform you’ll need to pre-order the game in order to gain access – despite recent comments by a Sony Computer Entertainment community manager saying that PS Plus subscribers would gain automatic access.

Do you think Destiny will be one of the best games of 2014?
The Game Critics Awards group has acknowledged the game as one of the best of E3 2014, at least, and following on from the PlayStation 4-exclusive alpha test it sounds as though the ol’ Hype O’ Meter is beginning to rev incredibly high for Bungie’s latest game.
Destiny launches across PlayStation 4, Xbox One, PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 on September 9th. Are you ready for Bungie’s new adventure?
