The graphical capabilities of mobile devices have increased at an unbelievable rate since the iPad was released in 2010 and the latest GPUs being developed for iOS and Android platforms easily beat those found in the previous console generation.
To drive this point home Epic Games recently showcased a new Unreal Engine 4 tech demo during the Google I/O developer conference. The “Rivalry” demo runs on Nvidia’s new Tegra K1 processor and utilises Google’s AEP (Android Extension Pack) extensions for OpenGL ES 3.1. Check it out below:
