We can only hope Platinum and Activision’s Airbender game will include some easy AchievementsWritten by: / / 6 Comments
2007’s Avatar: The Last Airbender – The Burning Earth from THQ is infamous thanks to the game’s incredibly easy method of earning 1000 Achievement points in the Xbox 360 version of the game – it takes just three minutes to get the full score!
Will Platinum Games and Activision’s downloadable title set in the same universe let us earn Achievements and Trophies just as quickly? Unlikely, but it will be interesting to see the Bayonetta developer’s take on the Nickelodeon property, The Legend of Korra, later this year.
Due out in late 2014 across digital distribution services on PlayStation, Xbox and PC, The Legend of Korra is currently in development at Platinum Games in collaboration with Activision, which itself is a peculiar partnership.
Fans of the animated show will be pleased to know that series writer Tim Hedrick is involved in the creation of the game, which is said to take place between the show’s second and third seasons, described by IGN as a game “all about fast-paced martial-art combat.”
Playing as Korra herself, IGN says that “players will use the Avatar’s fire, earth, air, and water elements in combat to fight familiar enemies such as Mecha Tanks and Chi Blockers, as well as other Benders in the 3-on-3 Pro-Bending arena.”
