Oddworld: New ‘n’ Tasty confirmed for Xbox One release this yearWritten by: / / 1 Comment
If you’ve been eyeing out Oddworld: New ‘n’ Tasty but are wondering if it will ever make the leap to Xbox One then publisher Oddworld Inhabitants has some good news for you. Thanks to the ID@Xbox developer program Microsoft has given the studio the go-ahead to bring this remake of Abe’s Oddysee to Xbox One, although sadly a Xbox 360 port does not fall within the ambit of this initiative.
“We’ve had some talks and I think we’re past it. We’re past it in a positive way,” said Oddworld Inhabitants co-founder Lorne Lanning. “We don’t have a release date, but we know it’ll be before the end of the year.”
Oddworld: New ‘n’ Tasty will be released first for PS4 on July 22nd in North America and July 23rd in Europe. The game is also being developed for PS3, PS Vita, PC and Wii U. Head over here for El33tonline’s previous coverage of this highly anticipated remake powered by the Unity engine.
