Following on from the Namco Bandai’s decision to officially swap the company’s name order to become ‘Bandai Namco’ earlier this year, Tecmo Koei will be undergoing a similar transition starting in July.
Writing on Twitter, Tecmo Koei Europe said:

As far as can be seen, the name change will only affect European operations. No similar announcement was made on the US Tecmo Koei Twitter account.
It All Started With a Merger
The two companies, Koei (known for Dynasty Warriors) and Tecmo (having produced Ninja Gaiden, Dead or Alive) merged together on April 1st, 2009, to form new company Koei Tecmo Holdings in Japan. In other regions, however, the newly formed company became known as Tecmo Koei most probably to prioritise the better known Tecmo portion of the organisation in the name.
The next game to come out of Koei Tecmo / Tecmo Koei is Hyrule Warriors, the Zelda themed large scale action game arriving exclusively on Wii U in September outside of Japan.
