It seems like there are fewer and fewer historical games being produced these days but Ubisoft’s upcoming puzzle adventure title Valiant Hearts firmly grounds players in the dark realities of World War I.
The game was inspired by letters written during the Great War and references many historical facts and events such as Germany’s use of poison gas on the Western Front and the thousands of “casualty dogs” or “mercy dogs” that gave comfort to critically injured soldiers in the trenches during the war.
