This week I have two freebies for you that stand in stark contrast to one another. First up is the full PC version of Titanfall which is currently free-to-play via EA’s new Origin Game Time promotion. The way this new system works is that you have 48 hours to play the game once you launch it for the first time. The clock counts down in real-time, whether you’re playing the game or not, and all your progress and save files will remain intact should you want to purchase Titanfall once the 48 hours are up.
EA says that it will offer new Game Time promotions from now on and that the window of opportunity to play titles for free (e.g. 48 hours) will change depending on the game, so be sure to keep a lookout for the next deal.
Finally we have Fish Out Of Water! from the popular mobile developer Halfbrick Studios. The game is currently the App of the Week on iTunes and tasks players with catapulting a fish of their choice across the ocean surface in such a manner as to avoid obstacles and rack up points.
Here’s a trailer showing this fun pick-up-and-play freebie in action:
Are you keen to check out any of this week’s games while they’re still at price zero? Let us know in the comments.
