Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare story trailer discusses a world three years in the makingWritten by: / / 1 Comment
The team at Sledgehammer Games has gone to great lengths to bring what creative director Bret Robbins calls a “compelling” story and experience to its audience in November, and in this Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare story trailer, we get to hear about a world and narrative three years in the making.
From the looks of the video, Sledgehammer has brought the technologies powering the Call of Duty series up-to-date using performance capture for Advanced Warfare’s main characters, while this time focussing on a single protagonist to deliver an experience Robbins believes hasn’t been accomplished in a movie, let alone a game.
Robbins also discusses consulting with military experts and futurists who have informed the technologies that we’ll be able to take advantage of in the game, including those awesome rocket-guided and proximity grenades seen in the E3 trailer last week.
