Final Fantasy Explorers announced for 3DS, features 4-player co-opWritten by: / / 1 Comment
There have been many Final Fantasy spin-offs released over the years but curiously none of them have attempted to embrace the Monster Hunter fever that has gripped Japan for so long. Enter Final Fantasy Explorers – a 3DS exclusive recently unveiled in this week’s issue of Jump magazine.
According to the article, Square Enix is developing Final Fantasy Explorers and the game is a multiplayer action RPG where players search for crystals while facing off against both familiar and new Final Fantasy foes.
The game allows players to select from multiple Jobs from this famous franchise including the Black Mage, White Mage, Knight and Monk to name but a few. Parties can consist of up to four players and ensuring that each member’s chosen Job adds value to the overall team dynamic will prove crucial to a party’s success.
So far Final Fantasy Explorers has only been confirmed for a Japanese release although it’s still not clear when the game will come out or how far along development is. We’ll keep you updated as soon as we learn more about this potential hit-in-the-making.
