E3 2014: Final Fantasy Agito heading West soon, announcement trailer showcases battle systemWritten by: / / No Comments
In September last year Square Enix’s free-to-play mobile title Final Fantasy Agito received a trademark filing in Europe, suggesting that a Western release wasn’t too far off. Now the publisher has revealed that the game will soon be available as a free download with in-app purchases on iOS and Android devices.
Final Fantasy Agito is set in the same world (Orience) as the popular PSP title Final Fantasy Type-0 which is currently being remastered for PS4 and Xbox One. In the game you assume the role of a cadet operating out of a military academy in the Dominion of Rurum as you attempt to become Agito – the prophesied saviour of Orience.
The game features extensive character customisation options and allows you to interact with some of the major characters from Final Fantasy Type-0. Final Fantasy Agito also features some interesting community-based elements such as large-scale cooperative battles and a dynamic storyline that changes depending on various decisions made in the game by the entire player population.
