E3 2014: Bayonetta 2 will include the original game when it’s out in October

Written by: / / No Comments

Bayonetta 2 has made more than its fair share of showings at global game events over the last two years, so we’re hoping that the latest launch window aspiration of October this year is realistic, because it’s been far too long since the release of the original game.

Speaking of the original game… Platinum Games’ original Bayonetta, first released in 2009/2010, will be included with Bayonetta 2 when it’s finally out! The first game never made it to a Nintendo platform, and when it does it’ll include Nintendo themed content like Samus and Link outfits.

Nintendo and Platinum also shared details of Bayonetta 2’s multiplayer features, with a two-player online co-operative mode called ‘Tag Climax,’ with online quick matches included where you can wager your collection of in-game currency, halos, against your ability to fight enemies better than your partner. Neat.
