E3 2014: Hilarious Sunset Overdrive trailer introduces the colourful world with co-op revealWritten by: / / No Comments
Microsoft and developer Insomniac Games have revealed the ability to join up with up to seven of your friends online in the extremely colourful and fast-paced world of Sunset Overdrive.
Oh, and there’s an amazing trailer and gameplay demo a little ways down the page, too!
Releasing on October 28th in North America and October 31st everywhere else, exclusive to Xbox One, Sunset Overdrive includes an eight-player co-operative mode called ‘Chaos Squad,’ which lets you and other players cause havoc together and vote on which missions you want to take part in, each with their own rewards and risks attached.
“Do they boost the Chaos level of the city, increasing both the difficulty and the potential rewards? Or do they take a team power-up, sacrificing some rewards to make things easier?”
These and other quick decisions will need to be made while you’re rail grinding, bouncing and splattering your enemies all around Sunset City.
You haven’t seen Sunset Overdrive yet? Well then, settle in for a treat below:
