We got our very first glimpse at the world of Ubisoft’s upcoming Assassin’s Creed: Unity earlier this year with a very brief peek at the next game in the open-world action franchise, this time exclusively for new generation consoles and PC.
During E3 2014, however, Ubisoft has provided a much more meaty portion of gameplay for fans to feast on.
Not only did the publisher unleash a five minute Assassin’s Creed: Unity gameplay demo, but the team also announced that we’ll be able to engage in four-player co-operative online missions with our friends to make assassinating our targets easier and more co-ordinated.
The video also showcases just some of the luscious visuals Ubisoft is crafting for Unity – enjoy below:

As for the story, here’s a quick blurb from Ubisoft:
“Embark on unforgettable story-based missions set in a living, breathing world. Sabotage an execution. Protect an emperor. Assassinate a target. But victory won’t be easy; you and your lethal band must rely on communication, coordination, and diverse skills to accomplish your missions and vanish into the shadows.”
