Classic PlayStation games get the Plants VS Zombies treatment for Garden Warfare tease

Written by: / / 3 Comments

Plants VS Zombies: Garden Warfare went from announcement to release well within the space of a single year, after EA and Popcap Games revealed the zany multiplayer team-based shooter at E3 2013 following a not inconsiderable development period.

The game is currently exclusive to Xbox 360 and Xbox One, with a PC release to follow in late June, but what about PlayStation 3 and PlayStation 4?

It looks like we’re about to get the announcement franchise fans have been waiting for, because the official Plants VS Zombies Twitter account has begun sending out not so subtle clues that Sony’s home consoles will soon play host to the outrageous action of Garden Warfare.

The Twitter account posted a series of images giving classic PlayStation games a PvZ makeover – can you recognise the references?

We hope to get the release date for the PS3 and PS4 versions of Plants VS Zombies: Garden Warfare at E3 2014, but it will most likely be announced before then.
