Zelda Williams to appear at E3 for something “special,” but it’s “not what you think”

Zelda Williams, daughter of actor Robin Williams and named after the princess in Nintendo’s Legend of Zelda series, recently piped up on Twitter hinting at something she’ll be doing during E3 2014 next month.

Williams wrote:

Nintendo fans’ minds would of course collectively go racing towards the expected announcement of a new Zelda game for the Wii U, but Williams was quick to point out to at least one fan that her appearance is ‘guaranteed’ to be not what we’re thinking, writing:

Hmm… So what could it be, then? Let us know if you have an idea.

Zelda Williams’ affiliation with Nintendo goes back to an advertisement she and father Robin Williams did around the time of the release of Ocarina of Time 3D for the 3DS. Williams hasn’t taken part in any promotional work for Nintendo since then (that we’re aware of), so perhaps she will reprise her role as a cheerleader for nostalgia surround Zelda games? A 3DS port of Majora’s Mask, perhaps?
