The Evil Within has been delayed to October… but here’s a new batch of ghastly screenshotsWritten by: / / 1 Comment
Originally due out in late August this year, the next survival horror game Resident Evil creator Shinji Mikami won’t be able to shamble to store shelves in time because The Evil Within has been delayed to October
The horrific third-person action adventure game is now due for release across PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Xbox 360 and PC starting October 21st in the US, and October 24th everywhere else. A spokesperson for Bethesda explained the delay, writing:
“Shinji Mikami and his team at Tango Gameworks have asked for additional time to further balance and refine the game in order to deliver the polished, terrifying pure survival horror experience they set out to create.”
This new date slots the The Evil Within into a very busy release month in the gaming world, with Evolve Alien: Isolation, Skylanders: Trap Team, Dragon Age: Inquisition, Middle-earth: Shadow of Mordor, Driveclub, Batman: Arkham Knight and WWE 2K15 all due in October.
In the meantime, you can look over the latest batch of truly horrendous screenshots for The Evil Within below… is that eyeball just hanging loose? Did that dude’s jaw just unhinge like that?! Yuck:
