Space Hulk: Deathwing is a sci-fi first-person shooter set in Games Workshop’s venerable tabletop boardgame universe of Warhammer 40 000. This much we know.
Currently in development at Streum On Studio in collaboration with Focus Home Interactive and Cyanide Studio, the game was originally announced with a teaser trailer in September 2013 – that trailer looked a little something like this (actually, exactly like this):

In the screens you’ll be able to glimpse the game’s main hero, a Deathwing Librarian armed with ‘Terminator’ armour, who must venture deep into the vast recesses of a sprawling Space Hulk vessel, ultimately confronting hordes of Genestealers. What are the Genestealers? Glad you asked:
“The Genestealers represent a serious threat even for a squad of Terminators,” writes Focus, “but they are just the vanguard of the forces players will fight inside the Space Hulk. From Genestealer Hybrids equipped with heavy weapons, through many sub-species of Genestealers, to huge Bloodlords, the enemies of the Deathwing are varied, versatile, and terrifying.”
Sounds horrific, but you won’t be without help. As a Librarian, you’ll have access to the destructive power of the ‘Psykers,’ with the chance to spend ‘Fervor Points’ earned for your performance in battle on four skill trees to improve your abilities, while unlocking new powers, using powerful relics and accessing “devastating new weapons.”
Does Space Hulk: Deathwing sound like your cup o’ tea?
