Ubisoft has announced that its critically acclaimed RPG Child of Light will be released for PS Vita on July 1st in North America and July 2nd in PAL territories. The game will be available from the PlayStation Store for €14.99/£11.99/$14.99 and will also be released in Europe as part of a retail ‘Complete Edition’ featuring a bonus quest, a new character and a pack of collectibles (i.e. all the DLC released for the game on other platforms).

This announcement doesn’t come as much of a surprise considering that Ubisoft’s previous two games developed using the UbiArt Framework engine – Rayman Origins and Rayman Legends – were also ported to PS Vita.

Here’s a new trailer for Child of Light showing the fantasy adventure that awaits PS Vita owners when the game becomes available in July:

Child of Light is already available on Xbox 360, Xbox One, PS3, PS4, Wii U and PC. Head over here for El33tonline’s previous coverage of this magical turn-based RPG which includes our recent review.
