New Borderlands 2 PS3 patch adds Cross-Save supportWritten by: / / 1 Comment
When Borderlands 2 was released on PS Vita in North America last week players soon discovered that the game’s advertised Cross-Save feature wasn’t available. Thankfully Gearbox Software has now released a patch for Borderlands 2 on PS3 that unlocks Cross-Save on both platforms.
Patch 1.12 weighs in at 112MB and doesn’t do anything besides adding PS Vita Cross-Save support. According to the game’s official forums, a player’s profile, BA rank and Golden Keys can be synced between the two versions but all tokens will need to be re-spent.
The PS Vita version of Borderlands 2 will be available in PAL territories from May 30th. Head over here for El33tonline’s previous coverage of the game and be sure to let us know if you plan you take advantage of its newly added Cross-Save feature.
