Trio of Mario Kart 8 TV spots advertise new featuresWritten by: / / No Comments
Nintendo is putting its full marketing might behind the upcoming Wii U exclusive Mario Kart 8 in an effort to boost sales of its struggling console and to give Wii U owners enough compelling reasons to pick up the game at launch.
Earlier this month the platform holder announced a special Mario Kart 8 promotion whereby fans who buy the game before July 31st can download one free title from a selection that includes New Super Mario Bros. U, Pikmin 3 and The Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker HD.
More recently Nintendo released three entertaining Mario Kart 8 TV spots advertising some of its new features such as anti-gravity racing and the Super Horn which finally gives players the power to defend themselves against pesky power-ups like the Spiny Shell. Check them out below:
Mario Kart 8 will be released exclusively for Wii U on May 30th in North America and European territories. Head over here for El33tonline’s previous coverage of this highly anticipated kart racer for screenshots, trailers and more details.
