Destiny Blowout: Epic trailers, legendary screenshots, beta details and much moreWritten by: / / 1 Comment
Bungie has truly unleashed the floodgates resulting in a Destiny blowout with a veritable feast of trailers, screenshots and additional gameplay details now available for the shared-world multiplayer shooter.
Thanks to a recent press event, Bungie was keen to talk a lot more about Destiny with fresh details on the upcoming online beta in the ‘Summer,’ while also revealing that game saves will be transferable between generations of consoles – if you choose to start your adventure on Xbox 360 or PlayStation 3, you’ll be able to continue playing on Xbox One or PlayStation 4 respectively:
“We’re interested in making sure that last gen character can move to next gen,” Bungie ‘s Tyson Green said.
“A lot of people are going to buy Destiny on PS3 or Xbox 360 and then get a PS4 for Christmas. Don’t tell me I wasted those last 100 hours there. So we’re really interested in supporting that. Our longer-term platform plans, I couldn’t speak to right now. But we don’t want to lock people in.”

Bungie also spoke more about the variety of ways players will be able to dive into the world of Destiny with a multitude of co-operative gameplay options available to your three-person Fire Team, all apparently integrated seamlessly into the game so you won’t be hopping through online lobby hoops to get into your chosen portion of the universe.
It was also confirmed that we’ll be getting a chance to play in the game’s beta in the ‘Summer’ ahead of launch on September 9th – see more on that below:
