Metal Gear Solid V: Ground Zeroes launched alongside two platform-exclusive missions: Déjà Vu and Jamais Vu. The first of these was only available in the PS4 and PS3 versions of the game, while the second was exclusive to Xbox One and Xbox 360 copies of Ground Zeroes.

In the latest episode of the Japanese web show ‘Kojima Station‘, game director Hideo Kojima revealed that these missions will be available across all platforms on May 1st. PlayStation fans will be able to play the Jamais Vu mission after downloading a free title update, while Xbox players can enjoy the Déjà Vu mission after downloading a similar patch.

The web show in question was broadcast very recently so it may take some time before Konami confirms this freebie for the West. However Hideo Kojima’s personal assistant tweeted the following message in English which suggests we’ll also get the title update on May 1st:

Metal Gear Solid V: Ground Zeroes is now available for PS3, PS4, Xbox 360 and Xbox One. Head over here for El33tonline’s previous coverage of this prologue to Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain.
