Trials Frontier App Store downloads top 6 million in one weekWritten by: / / 2 Comments
Ubisoft has ramped up its investment in the mobile space in recent years with new entries in the Rayman, Prince of Persia, Assassin’s Creed and Rabbids franchises all being released for iOS and Android devices. The publisher’s latest mobile title, Trials Frontier, was released exclusively on the App Store on April 10th as a free-to-play title and has enjoyed massive success so far – topping six million downloads in one week and currently leading the free app charts in seventy-five countries.
“We are thrilled with the success Trials Frontier has had in its first week of launch,” said Jean-Michel Detoc, Managing Director of Ubisoft Mobile. “Trials Frontier has the most first week downloads of any Ubisoft mobile title to date, and the thousands of players reviews we received are amazingly positive, an achievement Redlynx and Ubisoft are proud to announce. In order to keep players engaged, we have a robust post-launch content plan including new bikes and multiplayer modes that will allow players to continue exploring and enjoying the world of Trails Frontier.”
If you happened to pick up the recently released Trials Fusion on consoles (the PC version is out tomorrow) then be sure to link the two games to unlock bonus rider gear and alternative versions of some of Trials Frontier’s tracks.
