Dead Nation blasts onto PS Vita this week, new screens inside

Dead Nation was one of three PS Vita ports announced during Sony’s E3 press conference last year. The handheld version is being developed by Climax Studios and will support both online and ad-hoc co-op.

The PlayStation Blog recently surprised everyone by announcing that Dead Nation will be released for PS Vita later today in North America and tomorrow in PAL territories via the PlayStation Store. The game will cost $7.99/€7.99 and the Road of Devastation DLC can be purchased separately for $3.99/€3.99. If you already own either of these items on PS3 then you can pick up its PS Vita counterpart for free thanks to Cross-Buy. However, Cross-Buy only applies to the PS3 version of Dead Nation and its DLC so you’re out of luck if you only own Dead Nation: Apocalypse Edition on PS4.
