The Last of Us Remastered appears on PlayStation Webstore, official announcement incoming? [Update]Written by: / / 7 Comments
Sony Computer Entertainment has confirmed that The Last of Us will be making its way to PlayStation 4 – in a statement to consumer site Mashable, a spokesperson wrote:
“SCEA can confirm The Last of Us Remastered is coming to PS4, and we’ll be sharing more details with you shortly.”
A product listing on Amazon.com reveals that The Last of Us on PS4 will run at 1080p with “higher resolution character models, improved shadows and lighting, in addition to several other gameplay improvements.” The following extras are also included:
- Includes all DLC packs: over $30 in value
- In-game cinematic commentary from the cast and creative director
Will you be looking to replay The Last of Us on PS4 later this year? Or maybe try it out for the first time?
[End of Update]
Rumours about a remastered PS4 version of The Last of Us have escalated over the past few weeks and now the game has all but been confirmed after a banner advertising “The Last of Us Remastered” (seen above) appeared on the US PlayStation Webstore.
Unfortunately clicking on the banner results in a “page not found” error but the advert itself tells us that the game will cost $59.99 and will also be available at retail (hence the Day 1 Digital logo). The fact that this banner is already live on the PlayStation Webstore also suggests that The Last of Us Remastered is not too far off and we should therefore expect an official announcement from Sony within the next few days.
