Alien: Isolation dated for October

Alien: Isolation is rapidly shaping up to be one of the scariest, most atmospheric triple-A titles released this year thanks to its central conceit of being stalked by a single Xenomorph on the space station Sevastopol.

Sega recently announced that the game will be released across PS4, PS3, Xbox One, Xbox 360 and PC on October 7th which is slightly earlier than many people were anticipating.

“We couldn’t be happier to finally announce a date for Alien: Isolation,” said Alistair Hope, Creative Lead at Creative Assembly. “The reaction we have seen so far has been simply incredible, from the screams and shrieks to the cold sweats and racing hearts. It’s the Alien game that we’ve always wanted to play and we can’t wait to let everyone get their hands on it this fall.”

Head over here for El33tonline’s previous coverage of Alien: Isolation to see how this promising multiplatform title takes its cue from Ridley Scott’s 1979 classic horror film.
