Mandatory PS Vita firmware update 3.12 now availableWritten by: / / 6 Comments
Earlier this week Sony released a new firmware update for PS Vita that introduced a few commonly requested features such as raising the application icon limit on the handheld’s home screen. After downloading the update many PS Vita users with 32GB memory cards reported that their systems were constantly rebooting, and Sony has now issued a new firmware patch as an apparent reaction to these complaints.
The new system software (v3.12) is said to “improve system stability during use of some features” and is mandatory meaning that you won’t be able to access PlayStation Network features such as the PS Store without first downloading and installing the new update.
