Sorry Xbox 360 owners, a Burn Card won’t help the latest Titanfall delayWritten by: / / 12 Comments
It would be great to earn one of Titanfall’s ‘Burn Cards’ in real life so that whenever a game is delayed, we could simply call up the card and decrease that delay by a few weeks, but unfortunately this isn’t the case and this outlandish fantasy scenario won’t help ease the pain of another delay for the release Titanfall on Xbox 360.
EA today announced that the Xbox 360 version of Titanfall will now become available on April 8th in North America and starting April 11th in European regions, two weeks past the originally announced delay to March 25th and March 28th respectively.
The news was announced on the official EA news blog by EVP at EA Studios, Patrick Söderlund, who wrote:
“Now, I want to update everyone on Titanfall for Xbox 360 in development with Bluepoint Games. I’ve been playing the game a lot, and it is fantastic. But we see a few things that can be made even better, so we’re giving Bluepoint a little more time to do just that and deliver an epic Titanfall experience for Xbox 360 players.”
Söderlund went on to confirm that the Xbox 360 version of Titanfall would include the same features as the Xbox One and PC editions, with “the same 6v6 gameplay, maps, modes, weapons and Burn Cards.”
“We appreciate everyone’s patience as we get the last details right,” Söderlund continued. “See you on the Frontier.”
Have you been waiting for Titanfall on Xbox 360? Or have you already started playing on Xbox One or PC? Perhaps you’re skipping on the whole game altogether?
