The latest entry the fan-favourite Metal Gear series arrives this week around the world in the form of Metal Gear Solid V: Ground Zeroes, with a launch today in North America and the rest of the world starting March 20th, and what better way to hype up your own personal anticipation for the tactical stealth action adventure to come than by watching unsuspecting guards get slammed to the ground, knifed and knocked unconscious?

It could only get better if we got to hear the gravely tones of stealth operative Snake, accompanied by explosions and the words ‘Legend,’ ‘Hero’ and ‘Mercenary’ in a big, bold font… and wouldn’t you know it, that’s all included in the launch trailer for Ground Zeroes as well – catch all of that below:

Have you been keeping up with Metal Gear Solid V: Ground Zeroes? If not, you can get up to speed very quickly indeed with El33tonline’s continued coverage of the game over here.

Concerns were raised recently regarding the alleged length of Ground Zeroes, with Game Informer reporting that the game could be completed in only two hours, which was immediately rebutted by Konami.

That didn’t stop the publisher from dropping the price of the game, though. Ground Zeroes will retail for $29.99 / £29.99 / R399 across all platforms, with the digital versions of the game on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One available for $29.99 / £29.99 / R399, and $19.99 / £19.99 / R399 on PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360.

Will you be picking up Metal Gear Solid V: Ground Zeroes this week, or has another game caught your eye this month?
