El33t’s Pre-W33kend Post: Theft, electricity woes and a few grand adventuresWritten by: / / 3 Comments
It may be difficult, but we’re going to have to try to put the recent Titanfall delay news out of our minds so we don’t end up spoiling the weekend, so if we can get through today without the power failing across the country we might just be able to enjoy the next two days.
As we find out what members of El33tonline will be doing to send their minds to another place, let us know about the games and activities you have lined up for the weekend below, too…
“This weekend I’ll be heading into a much anticipated journey with Link in The Legend Of Zelda: Wind Waker HD. There’s also a birthday party to look forward to as well as some general relaxing with the family. Have a good one p33ps!”
“I’m really happy that it is the w33kend again. Been looking forward to this w33kend for a very long time.
By the time you are reading this I will not be in the country anymore as I will be on the MSC Opera ship. I’ll be back on dry land on Sunday so I’ll fill the rest of my w33kend with The Walking Dead Season 2 Episode 2 – A House Divided. There will also be some time to go watch the new 300 movie at Imax this Sunday.
I trust everyone will have an amazing w33kend filled with fun and lots of gaming. Keep safe and enjoy.”
“My weekend hasn’t got off to a great start after someone stole my cheque card details and used them to make a R2500 purchase in the early hours of this morning. I’ll put in a fraud claim this afternoon and hopefully get my refund in the next few weeks.
I don’t have too many plans for the weekend apart from visiting my folks on Sunday and watching some cricket and rugby over the break. I’m also keen to catch up on the Oscars despite the iniquity of The Wind Rises losing out to Frozen in the best animation category.
Have a great time p33ps!”
“Kids, work, XCOM. In that order.”
“Another weekend! Can’t wait for rugby, hopefully some slimming at the gym, and some game time!
Problem is, there are some obstacles to my plans: Eskom, weekend work, sick kid/s (Lisa and Wayne, I guess I jinxed my family, huh?).
If I manage to get some energy (electrical, emotional, physical) and time, there will certainly be some Fable afoot with my new Turtlebeach headset that Kalahari very kindly gave to me for my birthday (for free, nogal!) … but that’s another story for another time!”
What have you got planned for the weekend, p33ps?
