Titanfall season pass details announced, PC ‘Digital Deluxe’ edition revealedWritten by: / / 6 Comments
As confirmed yesterday, Titanfall players will indeed be offered the chance to buy a season pass to receive a discount on future downloadable content packs, and while Respawn Entertainment’s Vince Zampella assured fans that there will be free features added to the game post-launch with patches, EA has announced the details of the season pass along with a ‘Digital Deluxe’ version of the game on PC.
Starting next week from March 11th, and at participating retailers, Xbox 360 and Xbox One players will be able to buy the Titanfall Season Pass for $24.99 (representing a $5 saving) which will net owners all three of the planned downloadable content packs for the game when they’re released. EA says that each new content pack will include new maps, but any further content is unknown. The season pass will only provide content for the platform you buy it on, though, so a single season pass purchase will not unlock content on all three available platforms.
If you’re a PC player, however, you can buy the Titanfall Season Pass starting right now at EA’s Origin store, and if you’re looking to up your investment you can buy the Titanfall Digital Deluxe Edition for $79.99, which includes the game and the season pass.
Will you be taking advantage of the season pass offer for Titanfall (and saving $5 in the process), or will you simply buy each of the three content packs on a wait-and-see basis?
Titanfall is out on Xbox One and PC on March 11th in North America, March 13th in Europe and March 14th in the UK. The Xbox 360 version is out on March 25th in North America, and March 28th in the UK and Europe following a delay.
The previously announced collector’s edition recently got a glorious unboxing video to showcase its contents – take a look over here. Titanfall also recently got a pulse-racing launch trailer, which you can watch here.
