Ubisoft has announced that its upcoming downloadable RPG Child of Light will also be released at European retailers in the form of a Deluxe Edition which is now available for pre-order. Curiously the Deluxe Edition is only available for PC, PS3 and PS4 despite the game being released digitally on three other platforms – Xbox One, Xbox 360 and Wii U.

The Deluxe Edition includes an A2 poster designed by the celebrated Japanese artist Yoshitaka Amano, a 24-page art book featuring exclusive artwork along with a key ring starring Aurora’s playable companion Igniculus. The retail version will also include additional game content such as a bonus quest and character packs.

The publisher also revealed that the PlayStation versions of Child of Light (both digital and retail) will support Cross-Buy so owning it on one platform will allow you to play it on the other at no additional cost.

Lastly, Ubisoft released a new trailer for the game showcasing its visually impressive levels and giving us a preview of how co-op play will work if you’d like to experience this emotional journey with a friend or family member. Take a look below:

Child of Light will be available for download on Xbox 360, Xbox One, PS3, PS4, Wii U and PC from April 30th for €14.99/£11.99/$14.99. Head over here for El33tonline’s previous coverage of this magical turn-based RPG.
