Titanfall developer interview discusses titan design and creation

By now, we’ve all seen the three (announced) robotic monstrosities that we’ll be able to take control of in Titanfall next month, with the Stryder, Ogre and regular Atlas (seen getting shot up in the image above), but how did they come to be?

Jessica Chobot and the team at EA’s ‘For the Win’ video outfit recently sent out another interview with key developers at Respawn Entertainment to discuss the design and creation process for the titans of Titanfall, revealing that, at one point, they even tried to do motion capture for the mechs with people on stilts…

Titanfall – Creating The Stryder, Ogre and Atlas Titans

Titanfall is out on Xbox One and PC on March 11th in North America, March 13th in Europe and March 14th in the UK. The Xbox 360 version is out on March 25th in North America, and March 28th in the UK and Europe following a delay.
