Warner Bros. Interactive and developer TT Games have today announced an April release date for the pair’s upcoming LEGO themed action adventure game, LEGO The Hobbit, with a closer look at gameplay thanks to new footage.
LEGO The Hobbit is out on April 8th in North America and April 11th everywhere else, across almost every platform available including new and previous generations of home and handheld consoles.
The game sees players go on a journey through Middle-earth with characters including Bilbo Baggins, Gandalf the Grey, and Thorin Oakenshield and Company as they move ever onward towards the Dwarven Kingdom of Erebor.
According to Warner Bros. Interactive, you’ll be able to take control of each of the main characters from the film including the Company of Dwarves, from Thorin, Fíli, Kíli, Óin and Glóin, to Dwalin, Balin Bifur, Bofur, Bombur, Dori, Nori and Ori, each of which features their own special ability.
