The Last of Us sequel has a 50% chance of being made says creative directorWritten by: / / No Comments
Over the weekend The Last of Us creative director Neil Druckmann and game director Bruce Straley conducted a Reddit AMA where they fielded a number of questions related to the game, its recent DLC Left Behind, and the future of the series.
One of these questions naturally broached the subject of a potential sequel to The Last of Us, to which Neil Druckmann replied: “Right now I’d say it’s 50/50.”
Another fan asked the pair of directors if they missed the game’s central characters Joel and Ellie now that work on The Last of Us and Left Behind has wrapped up, to which Druckmann responded with the following noncommittal comment:
“I miss them dearly. I’d love to see them again – maybe in a different medium? We’ll see.”
Do you hope that the team behind The Last of Us begins work on a sequel once Naughty Dog has completed the next Uncharted game? Let us know in the comments.
