El33tonline Question of the Day

It’s clear that most people who spend more than a few hours a day playing games (and invest good chunks of cash on this pastime) know what they want – when brand new games cost as much as they do, you have to be sure that you’re going to enjoy a game to get the most out of it.

But has a friend ever been able to convince you to buy a game just from their description of it, and by telling you how much they enjoyed it? It doesn’t even have to be a full-priced retail game – maybe it was a less expensive downloadable title that felt like an impulse buy?

What was the game, and did you end up enjoying it? Have you been that friend who has convinced others to buy a game because you thought it was so good?
