We were recently reminded that it’s been a year to the day that Sony Computer Entertainment first unveiled the PlayStation 4 to the world at the PlayStation Meeting on February 20th, 2013, and since the console’s launch last year in November and December around the world, and ahead of the Japanese launch on Saturday, February 22nd, there’s still so much left to find out about the machine.

While we’ve already seen, played and enjoyed a healthy batch of first- and -third-party launch games, with more to come next week and in March ahead of a promised deluge of downloadable independently produced games, we’re still not one hundred percent clear on what the future of the console has in store as far as Sony’s first-party studios are concerned with over two dozen companies each secretly working on the games that will excite and delight us in the months and years to come.

The Official PlayStation Magazine (OPM) is teasing the reveal of just such a game, writing that the magazine’s next cover will feature “a series of massive significance” that has finally been confirmed for PlayStation 4 – here’s a scan of the text:

What do you think OPM is teasing? The return of Nathan Drake in Uncharted on PS4? Crash Bandicoot, Jak & Daxter or Ratchet & Clank? LittleBigPlanet or God of War? Maybe a third-party game?

What series do you think will be revealed for PlayStation 4 on the cover of the next OPM?
