Battlefield 4: Second Assault DLC arrives next weekWritten by: / / 4 Comments
It may have been rumoured before, but DICE and EA have officially announced that the second expansion pack for Battlefield 4 will become available starting next week for Battlefield 4 Premium members.
Following a period of timed exclusivity on Xbox One, Battlefield 4: Second Assault will launch on February 18th, first for Premium members on PlayStation 4, PlayStation 3, Xbox 360 and PC, bringing with it nostalgia-rich battle arenas from Battlefield 3 including Operation Metro, Caspian Border, Gulf of Oman and Operation Firestorm, only set years after their original appearance and imbued with Battlefield 4’s impressive ‘Levolution’ moments where parts of the levels will change dramatically over the course of a match, forcing you to switch up your tactics and approach to the objectives.
Second Assault will then become available to non-Premium members starting March 4th. You can see Second Assault in action with the DLC’s trailer and a bunch of gameplay videos from the re-imagined maps over here.
Following on from Second Assault, DICE says that the third Battlefield 4 expansion pack, Naval Strike, is due for release in late March for Premium members, which is described thus:
“In [Naval Strike], you’ll experience intense water-based combat as the Chinese armada takes the fight to the sea. You’ll have access to new weapons, gadgets, and amphibious vehicles, and four all-new maps – Lost Island, Nansha Strike, Wave Breaker, and Operation Mortar.”
Looking forward to the new maps and gadgets?
