Namco Bandai has released a new set of screens for Dark Souls II and fans of the series will be relieved to see that many of the elements which made the original game such a classic will make a return in the sequel. These include a virtually identical level up system and the life-restoring Estus Flasks which can be upgraded for greater efficacy.
The screens also showcase some fresh elements including a new class called the Deprived who start off the game unclothed and unarmed. This class will undoubtedly be a favourite among those Dark Souls players who like to take down the most challenging bosses with the lowest level character and equipment possible.

Dark Souls II will be released on March 11th in the US and March 14th in European territories for PS3 and Xbox 360, with a PC version arriving at a later date. Head over here for El33tonline’s previous coverage of the latest entry in this hugely influential series.
