The next Borderlands 2 DLC will be Valentine’s Day themed, but the last pack is out in AprilWritten by: / / No Comments
Following a report yesterday that Borderlands 2 has shipped a whopping 8.5 million units out to retailers around the world, and news that the game is set to receive new downloadable content later this year, Gearbox Software has confirmed that we’ll indeed get new DLC both in February and in April, but neither will be significant campaign additions.
The first of the DLC will be the fourth Headhunter pack titled ‘Mad Moxxi and the Wedding Day Massacre,’ which releases on February 11th for $2.99. This Headhunter excursion will (like the previous packs) reward you with unique heads and skins if you manage to beat the content’s boss with each of the six playable characters, with increasing difficulty on multiple runs.
IGN writes that, this time, you’ll revisit the feud between the Hodunk and Zaford families – bizarrely enough, a Goliath from each of the families are to be married and you’ll need to put together a love potion by collecting the necessary ingredients… Here’s the trailer for Mad Moxxi and the Wedding Day Massacre:

The final piece of DLC for Borderlands 2, and the fifth Headhunter pack, will become available in April, and is called ‘Sir Hammerlock and the Son of Crawmerax,’ so you can only guess what that’s all about…
