Nintendo of America on Pokemon Bank: “Stay tuned”Written by: / / No Comments
The Pokemon world was aflutter yesterday thanks to the European, Australian and New Zealand release of Pokemon Bank, Nintendo’s useful annual subscription service that promises to allow players to store up to 3000 of their accumulated Pokemon online in the magical ‘cloud’ for retrieval whenever they wish.
Pokemon Bank was released earlier this year in Japan and Asian regions, too, after it was delayed past its initial launch date of late December, but what about North America? Nintendo of America says “Stay tuned.”
Writing on the official Twitter account, the company said:
.@Pokemon Bank has continued to roll out in certain locations. Stay tuned to our social channels for availability in your region.

Up until now, Nintendo has been testing and monitoring the service ahead of launch around the world, so we hope to hear confirmation that Pokemon Bank is available in North America soon.
