You Died: Mundane Dark Souls 2 video and screens belie the tension to comeWritten by: / / 13 Comments
If anyone were to simply watch you play Demon’s Souls or Dark Souls, they wouldn’t have an especially exciting time.
Sure, they might witness epic battles with giant centipedes, fierce dragons, magical butterflies, towering golems and Ceaseless Discharge, but depending on your skill level, whoever is sapping their own life energy peering over your shoulder at the screen would probably have to endure extended periods of trial, error, repetition and tedium… from their point of view, of course.

Judging by the recently released gameplay video and some of the screenshots bundled together in the collection below, watching someone else play Dark Souls II won’t be nearly as exciting and intense as playing it for yourself… but I won’t lie, the footage is still mesmerising… what does that say about me?
