Ahead of the reveal of The Order: 1886 at E3 2013, it was widely believed to be the sole creation of God of War developer Sony Santa Monica, but as the announcement trailer continued to roll we soon discovered that Ready at Dawn (also previously a God of War developer, except on PSP) was the chief studio responsible for the upcoming PlayStation 4-exclusive action game.
Since then, we’ve learned a lot about the game’s steampunk looking world of 1800s London, as well as the technology behind the game including texture creation techniques and the incredibly advanced physics system.
We’re yet to see a meaty in-game video for The Order: 1886, so for now we’ll have to content ourselves with glancing at a few static screenshots for what we expect to be a very exciting, envelope-pushing PS4 game here in 2014.
