Have you received your PlayStation Now beta invitation? They’re going out nowWritten by: / / No Comments
IGN is reporting that select PlayStation 3 owners in North America who signed up to participate in the private beta test for PlayStation Now have begun receiving invites to try out the online game streaming service.
The beta will include “exclusive access to test PlayStation’s game streaming service before its full launch,” and it’s recommended that participants use a wired “ 5Mbps or higher speed broadband connection.” More details will be provided to beta testers in the coming days.
PlayStation Now was formally announced earlier this year using games like The Last of Us and God of War: Ascension at 2014’s Consumer Electronics Show (CES) to demonstrate how games could be streamed and played over an internet connection on a PlayStation 3, with other devices including PlayStation 4, PS Vita, mobile platforms and even internet connected TVs to eventually gain access to the service.
