What’s this? A Question of the Week? Why so serious? Because this is serious business!

We’ve already established that the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 generation of consoles is far from dead – with games like Dark Souls 2, Castlevania: Lords of Shadow 2, Watch Dogs, Titanfall and Metal Gear Solid V: Ground Zeroes still to come in 2014, these aging consoles still have life left in them.

But they are aging. And they’ve seen a lot of amazing games come and go. Which of these games are your favourite?

Which five games of the last console generation across Wii, Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 do you consider to be the best, most memorable, most ground-breaking and the most important? Which five games, according to your own enjoyment of them, defined your time playing games on the previous generation?
