Resident Evil 4 was ported to PC in 2007 but this version was often maligned for various technical and graphical issues, as well as low-res cut-scenes. Now Capcom has announced that a new version of the game for PC called ‘Resident Evil 4 Ultimate HD Edition’ will be released digitally via Steam globally and as a retail version for Windows PC in Europe on February 28th for €19.99/$19.99.

This new version features full HD visuals running at a smooth 60 frames per second, along with sharper text and upgraded textures on characters, backgrounds and in-game objects.

Pre-ordering the game from Steam before February 28th will net you a digital soundtrack featuring more than 60 tracks as well as a digital artbook.
