First Halo concept art reveals new location that “features prominently” in Xbox One gameWritten by: / / 2 Comments
After announcing a host of changes at Halo developer 343 Industries, executive producer Josh Holmes posted the first piece of concept art to escape the studio.
The artwork was created by newly appointed Halo art director, Nicolas ‘Sparth’ Bouvier, who has over seventeen years of visual design experience – jump through that link to see his other astounding artwork and a few other pieces of Halo concept art (presumably for Halo 4).
Writing on Halo Waypoint, Holmes wrote:
“In closing, I will leave you with this image from Sparth – an early exploration of a new location that features prominently in a little game project we’re tinkering with…”
Here it is (click to enlarge):
What purpose do you think this location serves? Does it look like a city, training facility or factory to you, or maybe something else?
You can get that artwork in different resolutions to use as a wallpaper (or whatever else you wish) at the Halo Waypoint blog.
Microsoft has confirmed multiple times that Halo on Xbox One is due for release in 2014, so look forward to that this year.
