Would you play Skyrim again on PS4 and Xbox One? Bethesda might have an announcement for you [Update]Written by: / / 5 Comments
Bethesda Softworks has attempted to explain why PlayStation 4 and Xbox One were added to Skyrim’s list of available platforms recently, citing a bug in the company’s website software. Bethesda’s Pete Hines wrote on Twitter:
We have been working on the CMS that runs our sites. A bug caused platforms that don't exist to show up for some games Sorry for confusion.

In addition, Hines said that the recent email making the rounds alluding to a ‘special announcement’ from Bethesda is a “fan hoax,” which unfortunately deflates a lot of excitement surrounding the company today.
What else are you looking forward to from Bethesda this year? Wolfenstein and Evil Within? Elder Scrolls Online?
[End of Update]
Bethesda Softworks recently updated its website to note that the studio’s previous blockbuster open-world RPG, The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim, will be available on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One, in addition to current platforms PC, PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360.

The removed listing isn’t the only clue that Bethesda is up to something, though, because emails have been sent out to fans and other sources indicating that there will be an announcement of some kind on January 12th, next week – here’s a snippet of the email in image form:
What do you think the announcement could be? A re-release of Skyrim on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One with all of the downloadable content, or could it be the big Bethesda reveal we’ve been waiting for relating to the next Fallout?
Would you play Skryim again on the new generation consoles, or finally take the plunge and begin your journey?
