The final week of 2013 saw both models of the 3DS selling a combined total of 208 893 units compared to 245 046 the previous week. Meanwhile, Wii U sales were down by 34% week over week although Nintendo’s latest home console still managed to sneak ahead of the combined sales of the PS Vita and PS Vita TV.

There doesn’t seem to have been much demand for the PS3 and PSP over the holiday break despite both systems boasting an amazing back catalogue of games for new owners to wade through.

Here’s the latest hardware chart in full (previous sales data appears in brackets):

• 3DS/3DS XL – 208 893 (245 046)
• Wii U – 79 174 (119 159)
• PS Vita/PS Vita TV – 75 207 (49 366)
• PS3 – 27 020 (23 493)
• PSP – 9 451 (7 697)
• Wii – 2 719 (2 444)
• Xbox 360 – 770 (607)
