Don Bradman Cricket 14 delayed until 2014Written by: / / No Comments
This past August Australian developer Big Ant Studios announced that a new cricket game by the name of Don Bradman Cricket 14 would be released later this year. At the time this seemed plausible as the game had already been in development for four year. However, a 2013 release began to look unlikely when a new trailer for Don Bradman Cricket 14 was unveiled earlier this month without any confirmation of a release date in sight.
Now Big Ant Studios has posted an update on the game’s official Facebook page, revealing that Don Bradman Cricket 14 has been delayed until 2014. Here’s the post:
“In order to bring the best possible game to the market at the best possible time we have decided to move the date into 2014. We are working to get the game to all markets simultaneously and will advise as soon as we can of an exact release date once it is known.
“On a positive note, there will be a new Don Bradman Cricket Academy released on Friday and to say thanks for your patience it will include the long awaited Nets Practice mode.”
For those of you wondering what Don Bradman Cricket Academy is, it’s a free beta/teaser for the game which enables you to customise players, teams, umpires, matches, competitions and tours.
Don Bradman Cricket 14 is being developed for PC, PS3 and Xbox 360. Head over here for El33tonline’s previous coverage of the game to find out more about this feature-packed cricket simulation.
